BrightPen OPC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ID Card Maker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

- Account Information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Organization Details: Organization name, address, and related details you enter to set up workspaces.
- Member Records: Names, photos, field data (designation, department, ID numbers, etc.) that you add for members within your organizations and projects.
- Template Designs: ID card template layouts, field configurations, and associated assets (logos, images) you create.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for crash reporting and analytics.
- Crash and Performance Data: We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance traces. This data may include device info, app version, stack traces, and breadcrumbs. We configure Sentry to avoid collecting personally identifiable information (PII) such as passwords, tokens, photos, or record field values.
- Push Notification Tokens: We use OneSignal to deliver push notifications. OneSignal collects device tokens and basic analytics to support notification delivery.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
- Create and manage your organizations, projects, templates, and member records.
- Generate and print ID cards based on your templates and record data.
- Send you push notifications about sync status, updates, and important events.
- Monitor app stability and performance through crash reporting.
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the App, including Sentry (crash reporting), OneSignal (push notifications), and cloud infrastructure providers for data storage and sync.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with appropriate access controls and encryption. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.
